8-Head Auto-Feed CO2 Laser Cutter for Textiles and Coated Abrasives

This multi-head roll-material system runs up to eight CO2 cutting heads across a shared conveyor to process repeated patterns in parallel. It is intended for approved textiles and manufacturer-confirmed laser-safe coated abrasives. Throughput gain depends on head spacing, pattern layout, material width, acceleration and feeding time; eight heads do not guarantee eight times the output. An optional skew-correction system monitors roll tracking and helps keep flexible media aligned during indexed feeding. Coated abrasives often contain proprietary adhesives or binders, so review the current SDS and obtain manufacturer approval; never laser-process products containing epoxy or phenolic resins, PVC, PTFE or other halogenated materials.

Core Production Systems

The conveyor, roll feeder, head array, motion system, Ruida control, chiller and extraction must operate as one configured line. Nesting can reduce offcut when the software and pattern geometry allow it, while the operator remains responsible for material approval, roll loading, job setup and continuous supervision.

Up to eight CO2 heads can be spaced for repeated patterns across the material width. Red-dot positioning can assist setup, while mirror alignment, focus and head-to-head calibration should be completed by trained personnel and verified with a production sample.

Commissioning and Preventive Maintenance

Installation should follow the factory layout, electrical drawings and manuals for the exact configuration. Site power, protective earth, chiller, air assist, exhaust, fire precautions and roll-handling space must be prepared before commissioning.

Qualified technicians should inspect the shipment, machine frame, conveyor, feeder and head array before energizing the system.

Level and anchor the machine as specified, then align the conveyor and feeding rack with the direction of material travel.
