Product Description

Application and model selection

The 3015 brochure lists power classes from 1.5 to 20 kW across configured versions. Larger 6015 beds or higher powers require a separately documented package. Compare the complete cutting and handling cycle, including gas demand, loading, unloading and sorting, when choosing between power levels.

The values below identify this product and its listed options. The selected source, optics, controller, accessories and site utilities must be named in the quotation. Motion speed and positioning figures do not establish finished-part tolerance or production throughput.

Materials and process limits

Carbon steel and stainless steel are common applications. Aluminum, brass, copper and other reflective alloys require a source and head approved for the material plus a process trial. Coated and galvanized sheet need fume review. These flatbed machines process sheet; tube cutting requires dedicated hardware and software.

Production workflow

Import the drawing into the matched CypCut/FSCUT workflow, check scale and nesting, and set material-specific piercing, focus, gas and kerf compensation. Capacitive height following controls nozzle clearance. Approve the sample against the drawing before running the production nest; software and available functions depend on the delivered controller and license.

Options to specify

Match the source, autofocus head, gas system, dual-circuit chiller and extraction to the selected power. Check sheet loading, bed load, smallest part support and service clearance. Source brand alone does not establish performance or local service coverage. Nozzles, protective windows, gas, filters, coolant and lubrication remain operating costs.

Plan suitable guarding, interlocks, emergency stops, extraction and operator training for the supplied laser system. The finished machine classification must be verified; an enclosure alone is not proof of Class 1 compliance. Follow the supplied operating and maintenance instructions.

Sample test and acceptance

Approve a representative sample and the written configuration before ordering. Record the material, source, settings, lens or nozzle, fixture, appearance, dimensions and complete cycle time. Keep those results as the production acceptance reference.

Installation, service and documentation

Ask Vank Laser to include the machine layout, electrical requirements, supplied software, operating instructions, maintenance schedule and recommended spare parts in the technical proposal. Agree commissioning, operator training, support language, warranty coverage and service responsibilities before shipment. Request conformity documents for the actual machine and destination.

Request a sample test and quotation

Send material grade, coating, sheet dimensions, thickness range, CAD drawings, critical tolerances, edge requirements, daily volume and available process gases.

Send the destination country, installation voltage and required delivery scope with your inquiry. Ask for sample photos or video, measured results and a configuration-specific quotation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • How much does a 3015 fiber laser cutting machine cost to buy and to run?

The 3015 is quoted by configuration, not from a single list price, because the same 3000 x 1500 mm bed is offered from 1.5 kW up to 20 kW. The main cost drivers are laser power, the source brand and model, the auto-focus cutting head, the Cypcut controller package, the matched water chiller, sheet loading, guarding, spare parts and freight. Running cost is dominated by assist gas, electricity and consumables. Send your material, thickness and part drawings and Vank Laser will quote the exact configuration and its consumable list.

  • Which power should I choose for a 3015 — 3 kW, 6 kW or higher?

Choose by the thickness and volume you run most often; the 3015 is offered in 1.5, 2, 3, 6, 10, 12, 15 and 20 kW classes. On Vank Laser's published reference table, carbon steel reaches 25 mm at 3 kW, 40 mm at 10 kW and 55 mm at 20 kW, while stainless steel runs 12 mm at 3 kW and 20 mm at 6 kW. If nearly all your work sits inside the 3 kW range, extra power mainly buys throughput rather than new jobs. Compare the complete cycle, including gas demand, loading and sorting.

  • What cutting thickness can a 3015 handle, by material and power?

Vank Laser publishes a reference table for maximum processing thickness. Carbon steel runs 1-16 mm at 1.5 kW, 1-25 mm at 3 kW, 1-40 mm at 10 kW and 1-55 mm at 20 kW. Stainless steel runs 1-8 mm at 1.5 kW, 1-12 mm at 3 kW and 1-80 mm at 20 kW. Aluminum and brass reach 1-6 mm at 1.5 kW and 1-27 mm at 20 kW. These figures are reference values, not a guarantee, so the exact thickness and edge quality for your alloy are confirmed on a sample cut.

  • What positioning accuracy does the 3015 hold, and is that the same as part tolerance?

The 3015 is specified at plus or minus 0.02 mm repeat positioning accuracy with Raytools cutting head and HIWIN guide rail. That is machine motion accuracy, not finished-part tolerance. Usable tolerance depends on material, thickness, kerf, heat input, focus, assist gas, calibration and how you inspect the part. Send your drawing with critical dimensions marked and Vank Laser will record measured results on a sample as the acceptance reference.

  • What are the installation requirements, and how are training and after-sales handled?

The machine body measures approximately 4190 x 2520 x 1320 mm and needs a level, load-rated floor with service clearance on all sides; power supply is 380 V, 50/60 Hz, three-phase, plus the matched industrial chiller, extraction and assist gas supply. Installation guidance, operator training, troubleshooting, spare-parts assistance and warranty service follow the signed quotation, so confirm what the warranty covers and excludes, how remote support is delivered, whether on-site service is included, and how travel and spare parts are charged.

  • Can the 3015 cut tube as well as sheet metal?

No. The 3015 is a flatbed sheet metal machine and cuts flat sheet only, because tube and pipe need dedicated chuck hardware, a different support system and matched software. If you need both, treat them as two separate machines. Vank Laser supplies the VK-6024 fiber laser tube cutter with a 6000 x 2400 mm processing format and 240 mm chuck for round, square and rectangular tube.

  • Does Vank Laser support OEM and ODM private label?

Yes. Vank Laser builds machines under customer brands, so the nameplate, machine colour and decals, the operating manual and the control interface can be produced to your own label and specification. Send your brand assets, target market and the configuration you want to sell, and the factory will confirm tooling, minimum quantity, lead time, packaging and the certification documents required for that market. Ask for the private-label checklist when you request the quotation.

  • What do you need from me to quote, and can I send material for a cutting test?

Send the material grade and coating, thickness range, part drawings or DXF files, the smallest hole and feature you must hold, the required tolerance, your monthly volume, destination country and site voltage. A sample test is the standard step before an order: Vank Laser records the configuration, nozzle, assist gas, focus and measured results, and those results become the acceptance reference for the order. Ask for sample photos or video if shipping material is impractical.
