Product Description

VankCut-6060FL Open Fiber Laser Cutting Machine

The VankCut-6060FL is a open CNC fiber laser cutting machine with a 600 × 600 mm work area for small-format metal parts and thin-sheet fabrication. Available in 1500 W-2000 W configurations, it is intended for qualified production of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and other supported metals after sample cutting and process validation.

  • Open Work Area: 600 × 600 mm cutting area for small sheets, precision parts and space-conscious production cells.
  • Power Options: 1500 W and 2000 W sources can be evaluated according to material, thickness, assist gas and required cycle time.
  • Controlled Precision: Ball-screw drive, linear guides and servo motion support fine cutting; finished tolerance and edge quality depend on material, nesting and validated process settings.
  • RAYTOOLS Control: RAYTOOLS Control workflows support drawing import, nesting and cutting control; operator training and machine-specific setup remain required.
  • Open Design:Without fully enclosed cabinet restriction, it realizes unrestricted feeding of materials. Components are easy to reach for troubleshooting and part replacement, reducing downtime. Stable laser output guarantees precise metal cutting.
  • Serviceable Optical Path: Fiber delivery avoids external mirror alignment, while protective lenses, nozzles, focus calibration, gas delivery, extraction and chiller maintenance are still required.

Laser Cutting Thickness Reference (Stable / Limit)

Material1500W2000W
Carbon Steel6 / 88 / 12
Stainless Steel3 / 44 / 6
Aluminum2 / 33 / 5
Brass1 / 22 / 3

How to Read the Cutting Reference

Stable / limit format: The first value is a production-oriented reference and the second is a slower limit-cut reference. Neither value is a guaranteed acceptance thickness without a sample test.

Limit cutting: Limit values may involve slow speed, increased dross or reduced edge quality and are not intended to represent routine mass-production capacity.

Reflective metals: Aluminum, brass and copper require a source, cutting head and process approved for back-reflection risk.

Process variables: Actual capacity depends on source model, beam quality, assist gas, pressure, nozzle, focus, alloy, surface condition and acceptance criteria.

Supported Materials

Typical applications include carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, galvanized sheet, brass, copper, titanium and selected precious-metal sheets. Reflective and high-value materials require configuration review and representative sample approval.

Typical Industries

Applications include jewelry and precious-metal parts, precision instruments, electrical components, nameplates, gifts, signs, small automotive parts and other small-format sheet-metal workflows.

VankCut-6060FL Small-Format Fiber Laser Cutter

The 6060FL combines a compact 600 × 600 mm work area with open fiber-laser cutting for qualified small metal parts. Select source power, cutting head, gas system and acceptance criteria from real materials and drawings.

Selectable Fiber Laser Source

  • Source efficiency, beam quality and electrical requirements depend on the exact model
  • Altitude and environmental limits follow the selected source datasheet
  • Cutting performance must be validated with the target alloy and thickness
  • Output-fiber length and interface are fixed by the confirmed machine BOM
  • Routine source maintenance is limited, but cooling, power quality and connectors require inspection
  • Pulse and modulation limits depend on the selected source and controller

Auto-Focus Fiber Laser Cutting Head

The auto-focus cutting head supports programmed focus adjustment and capacitive height control. Brand, optical rating, protective-lens specification and suitability for reflective metals must match the selected laser source.

RAYTOOLS Control Workflow

The controller supports drawing import, nesting, lead-ins, edge finding and cutting-path management. Available functions depend on the installed RAYTOOLS controller and software version; training and machine-specific parameter setup are required.

Precision Linear Guides

Linear guides and ball-screw motion support smooth, repeatable travel. Guide brand, preload, lubrication and alignment are confirmed through the final BOM and factory acceptance checks.

Industrial Water Chiller

A matched industrial chiller regulates the laser source and cutting-head cooling circuits. Temperature stability, cooling capacity and electrical specification depend on the selected 1500 W-2000 W configuration; follow the supplied maintenance schedule.

Ball Screw transmission

Compared with belt drive, it provides higher engraving and cutting precision; compared with GEAR RACK rack drive, it provides higher precision, but rack-drive machines are faster. BALL SCREW drive is mainly used for cutting materials over 20 mm thick and for laser cutting of greater thicknesses, resulting in smoother cutting edges.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • How does the open 6060FL fit into a shared workshop?

The open design gives direct access for loading and servicing. Its installation needs a defined laser-controlled work zone with suitable guarding and extraction. Share your workshop layout with us so sheet handling, operator access and service clearance can be reviewed alongside the cutting sample before you approve the installation.

  • Will my parts fit the 600 × 600 mm cutting area?

The open 6060FL suits jobs whose complete layout fits within 600 × 600 mm. Include edge margins, fixtures and part support when checking the nest. Send us your drawing and a representative blank so usable travel and loading access can be assessed together before you choose the machine.

  • Should I choose 1500 W or 2000 W for the open 6060FL?

Both 1500 W and 2000 W configurations are offered for the open 6060FL. Choose around your usual alloy, thickness, edge finish and production target. Compare samples from the same material and drawing, including dross, gas use and complete cycle time, to decide which configuration suits your work.

  • How should I specify tolerances for small parts on the open 6060FL?

Specify the dimensions that matter on your finished part. Ball-screw motion supports controlled travel, while kerf, heat input, sheet flatness and cutting settings also affect the result. Mark critical holes and narrow bridges on your drawing, then agree the measurement method and sample acceptance criteria with us.

  • Can the open 6060FL cut aluminum, brass and copper?

These metals need a laser source and cutting head matched to the alloy and reflection risk. Send us the material grade, surface condition and thickness for review and a cutting trial. Check the sample edge and dimensions, and confirm the selected components in your quotation before ordering.

  • What maintenance does the open 6060FL need?

The fiber-delivered beam avoids external mirror alignment, while protective lenses, nozzles and utilities still need routine attention. Plan access for focus checks, gas delivery and the matched chiller. Review the maintenance schedule and consumables for your configuration with us, and include the relevant service tasks in operator handover.
