Product Description

VK-1612 Four-Head CO2 Laser Fabric Cutter Applications

The VK-1612 is a four-head CO2 laser fabric cutting machine with a nominal 1,600 × 1,200 mm working area and automatic roll feeding. Its parallel-head layout is intended for repeated patterns on plain textiles; optional camera positioning can be evaluated for printed contours or registration marks.

  • Garment and Apparel Textiles: selected polyester, nylon, cotton, denim, lace, mesh and other woven or synthetic fabrics after cut testing.
  • Home Textiles: curtains, upholstery layers, cushion materials, selected carpet and decorative fabrics after composition and fume review.
  • Industrial Textiles: selected filtration media, nonwovens, air-duct fabrics and technical textiles after application validation.
  • Automotive and Transport Textiles: selected carpet, trim, seat-cover and interior materials; safety-critical parts require separate process qualification.
  • Sports, Outdoor and Soft Signage: sportswear, flags, banners, tent fabrics, sailcloth and similar flexible roll materials.
  • Protective and Specialty Textiles: only materials with verified composition and an approved laser process; performance certification remains the customer’s responsibility.

VK-1612 four-head CO2 laser fabric cutter overview

Technical Specifications

The VK-1612 can be configured with different CO2 tube powers, four-head spacing, drive components, feeders and optional vision hardware. Speed, edge quality, repeatability and throughput depend on material composition, thickness, nesting, head spacing and process parameters; confirm the final configuration with representative sample cutting.

Key Production Advantages

  • Non-Contact Cutting: The laser applies no mechanical tool pressure, helping reduce drag and distortion when roll tension and feeding are correctly set.
  • Cut and Edge Sealing: Many thermoplastic textiles can develop fused edges. Natural fibers and blends may fray or discolor, so results must be tested; post-processing requirements vary.
  • Qualified Material Range: Process selected polyester, nylon, cotton, denim, lace, nonwovens and compatible leather only after composition, fume and cut-quality checks.
  • Parallel Four-Head Output: Four heads can cut repeated layouts in parallel when head spacing, nesting and part geometry allow. Actual output must be measured with the customer’s files and material.
  • Controlled Workflow: Automatic feeding and optional vision registration can reduce repeated positioning, while file preparation, calibration, operator training and supervision remain required.

Applicable Materials and Safety

Typical materials include selected polyester, nylon, cotton, denim, lace, nonwovens, mesh and compatible leather. Review the safety data sheet and test every material before processing. Never laser-cut PVC, vinyl, PTFE or chlorine/fluorine-containing textiles or coatings; use correctly sized exhaust and never leave the machine unattended.

Applicable Industries

Applications include apparel, embroidery and appliqué, fabric toys, home textiles, soft signage, selected leather goods, industrial textiles and other repeated-pattern cutting workflows. Safety-critical products require independent process validation and certification.

VK-1612 Four-Head Fabric Cutting Solution

The four-head VK-1612 with conveyor feeding is designed for repeated cutting of plain roll fabrics and other qualified flexible materials. An optional camera system can be added when the application requires registered contours.

Four heads can process repeated shapes in parallel within the available work area when nesting and adjustable head spacing are suitable. Throughput depends on material, part geometry, laser power, acceleration and feeding stability.

Machine Components

Four-head CO2 laser cutting assembly

Four-Head Cutting Assembly

Adjustable parallel cutting heads

The four-head assembly is configured for repeated layouts and shared motion. Usable spacing, simultaneous paths and minimum part pitch depend on the confirmed mechanical arrangement and nesting file.

Automatic roll fabric feeder

Automatic Roll Feeder

The feeder advances roll material to the conveyor in coordination with the cutting workflow. Sensor and tension settings must be adjusted for roll width, weight, elasticity and surface friction to maintain stable positioning.

Honeycomb conveyor cutting table

Honeycomb Conveyor Table

The conveyor and underlying extraction help support flexible material and remove process fumes. Hold-down performance depends on airflow, material permeability and table condition; extraction and filtration must be sized for the application.
