Application introduction
UV laser is a very different from CO2 laser and fiber laser. UV laser is also known as blue laser beam, which has the ability to engrave with low heat. The light wave or ultraviolet spectrum of UV laser marking machine is one of the main reasons that this technology can be engraved on different materials. It does not heat the surface of the material like fiber laser and CO2 laser marking machines.

Incredible Precision
The UV laser marking machine uses anincredible small, focused, powerful laser beam - that's
thirty times smaller than a co2 laser beam.

UV Laser Features
UV lasers operate at a wavelength of 355nm, which is absorbed by a wider range of materials than other laser types. This means that a single UV laser can engrave on leather, wood, plastics, metals, and even specialised materials like borosilicate glass. A UV laser engraving machine can also cut thermally resistant materials such as carbon fibre, offering a level of versatility that’s very hard to beat!
UV lasers also stand out for their unique interactions with certain materials, below are just three examples:
Silicone: UV lasers can change the colour of silicone without ablating it, which means no debris, no need for post-engraving cleaning, and no unpleasant odours. This makes UV laser engravers ideal for high-detail projects like engraving QR codes on silicone wristbands for security passes at events.
Glass: UV lasers are absorbed by glass, unlike CO2 lasers which can cause cracking or fracturing. UV lasers vaporise the glass, creating a true engraving with a frosted appearance that no other technology can replicate in detail.
Wood: UV lasers produce less heat during the engraving process, leading to minimal burning around the edges. Although UV laser engravings on wood are lighter in colour, the fine detail achieved is far superior to other methods.

FAQ
What materials can a fiber laser marking machine mark?
Fiber laser marking machines are suitable for fine marking on materials such as metals, plastics, rubber, leather, and fabrics.
What laser power options are available?
30W,50W,60W,100W
How deep can a fiber laser marking machine engrave into metal?
Suitable for making clear, high-contrast marks on metal surfaces, but the engraving depth is usually no more than 0.1mm.
What is the difference between fiber laser marking and CO2 laser marking?
In terms of precision, device lasers are fabricated at the nanometer level, while CO2 lasers are fabricated at the micrometer level. Device lasers require higher precision than CO2 lasers.
How do I clean and maintain the lenses and mirrors?
Clean the inside of the equipment to remove dust, dirt, and foreign objects. Use a vacuum cleaner, alcohol, and lint-free cloth to remove dust, dirt, and foreign objects. Check the field mirror lenses for dirt and wipe them with lens paper.
What file formats and software are supported?
It is compatible with files from software such as CorelDRAW and AutoCAD; supports PLT, PCX, DXF, BMP, etc., and can directly use SHX and TTF fonts; supports automatic encoding, printing serial numbers, batch numbers, dates, barcodes, QR codes, automatic numbering, etc., and has a USB interface for output control.
How long does the laser source last, and what is the warranty?
100,000 hours、1years
What are the advantages of fiber laser marking over traditional methods (e.g., inkjet or engraving)?
Fiber lasers are better suited for metal, plastic, and ceramic parts, requiring no ink consumption and no spraying maintenance. Fiber laser marking physically alters the surface, achieving a level of marking durability that ink cannot.
